Saturday 12/9/26 High pressure over the south of Britain brings dry and fairly warm conditions to the Midlands, south and eastern England and Wales. A frontal system sweeping across the north and west brings persistent and at times heavy rain to Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Rain is likely to spill into northwest England and north Wales during the day, accompanied by strong southwesterly winds. Less windy toward the south of England. Highs 18 to 25C, warmest southeast.
