Wednesday A relatively cool start to north and west France as well as northwest Spain today. A few scattered showers about but mostly dry through these parts. Rain will gradually clear from south and east France as well as southeast Spain through the day. Unsettled across the Balearic islands with outbreaks of rain and blustery winds. Dry for Corsica and Sardinia yet cloud will build in the west. Much of Italy will be dry and fine though heavy rain will affect the north. One or two showers affecting Greece but the majority will stay dry. Dry and fair for Turkey. A cooler day for the Netherlands but dry and bright with sunshine. Much of Germany will be dry and fine with plenty of sunshine yet the south will be wet with heavy rain. Turning fresher as the day goes on. Some patchy rain for Poland, mostly in the south and east, dry elsewhere. A wet day for Switzerland and Austria into Czechia and Slovakia. Hungary too will see outbreaks of rain. Wet with some rain in northern Croatia yet drier fur ther south. The day will improve across Denmark with winds easing and rain clearing. Staying windy across south Norway. Some patchy rain but most will be dry across the region. Outbreaks of rain and Finland. The Baltic States will also be unsettled with strengthened winds and outbreaks of rain.
