Sunday 13/9/26 A cold front moving southwards brings rather cloudy skies with patchy light rain around for many to start but an improving day with sunny spells developing from the north across the Midlands, then southern counties into the afternoon, though some showers may remain. Isolated showers drift east over northern England. Much of Scotland and Ireland see a fair day under a ridge of high pressure. High cloud building again toward the northwest later. Fairly warm, highs 17 to 24C.
