Friday A dry day in Iberia and the central Mediterranean islands, some local cloudy areas. Showery in northeast and central Italy, other areas dry with sun. Showers moving into the northern Balkan States. Drier and brighter in the southern Balkans and Greece, a few scattered afternoon showers. Scattered showers in Türkiye as well, the far west likely dry. Scattered showers in central and north France with sunny spells. Showers too in Germany with sunny spells, the best sun later in the day. A broad area of rain crosses the Low Countries and moves into northern Germany late in the day. Showery in Switzerland, heavy rain in Austria. Often raining in Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland, drier Hungary but with some cloud around and spotty rain in the west. The eastern European countries will start bright, fair weather cloud building with afternoon showers. Showers in eastern Denmark will fade for a bright evening. Showers across much of Norway and Sweden, some heavier rain moving northward, this all easing late in the day too. Increasingly west across Latvia and Lithuania, only a scattering of rain reaching Estonia. Finland is also substantially dry except for some scattered rain in the southwest later; also quite cloudy across Finland.
