Western Scotland sees drizzle and some showery rain as westerly winds prevail. A little patchy rain for Northern Ireland too. Drier in eastern Scotland. Highs at 16 to 22C. Thursday 17/9/26 Another front moves in from the Atlantic to bring rain into western Britain and across Ireland during the day. The most persistent rain toward northwest England and western Scotland. Largely dry until later for the Midlands, south and east with some sunshine in the southeast. Highs 16 to 23C.
