Mon Dec 11: Tuesday A fine and frosty start to Tuesday. There will be some good
spells of sunshine, mostly in central and eastern areas although cloud
starts to increase in Wales, western Scotland and southwest England
by late morning. Rain and increasing winds moving into west of Ireland.
This rain band then spread east into the west of Scotland and the
rest of Ireland in the afternoon, eventually reaching western Wales
and Cornwall as well as the Isles of Scilly by evening. Remaining
fair in eastern areas with more sunny spells in the afternoon. A cold
day with highs struggling to 1C for many, but nearer 5C in Ireland
and the west coasts of England and Wales.
